6. Do you offer automated data collection and management?
Yes. Accurate and relevant data correctly aligned to risk-based rules is the secret of true risk prediction. Guideline has mastered the art of data collection and management through years of hard work in close relationships with our clients.

7. Is your reporting approach top-down or bottom-up?
It is both. We believe that all employees are, to some degree, responsible for the management of risk in their areas. The system is therefore designed to roll out to the entire organization and becomes the universal risk management tool at all levels.

8. Do you offer qualitative data analysis?
Yes, from the point of incident collection, all the way through risk assessment, evaluation, and predictive loss analysis. An incident is defined as “any deviation from policy, rules or regulations; non-compliance, a near-miss or an actual loss, as well as an opportunity loss.”

9. Do you offer quantitative data analysis?
Yes. This is done through detailed incident data gathering, captured both manually and automatically, to show deviations, non-compliances, near misses, and actual losses. The data is then coupled with historical benchmark data to produce any type of loss distribution, severity/frequency analysis, or risk prediction the client may want. Together with key risk indicator and internal audit information, this is used to build predictive analysis reports.

10. Do you offer drill-down reporting capabilities?
Yes. We consider that the reporting end is the most vital component of a system and the extensive drill-down aspects of the Guideline process are essential in determining specific areas of risk. Interactive, color-coded graphs are also used as one of the key elements in monitoring any risk category or business area.
